Hi everyone , its been a while since we had a news letter but I thought it was time to update a bit
The big news is after a bad start to the year with terrible weather its finally calmed down and as a consequence the sunday numbers are steadily growing again .
We are also growing in volunteer numbers to help around the club especially the canteen with nickola overseeing its operation and teaching new people how to operate everything when she is absent and on that note a special thanks goes to Ronan , Matt and jayne for their efforts last weekend at the midwinter cup and also Ilza who did a fantastic job of attracting sponsors and organising prizes and trophies and setting up the presentation . Without these people charlie and I couldnt run the event .
So how did midwinter go well numbers were down but the competition was good with Max cleaning up open laser with TJ second and ethan third then in green fleet Joshua first Quinn second and Matt third .
The best and fairest award went to Leila who showed consistency and a helpful attitude throughout the event .
As we are on a rebuilding process we should have more competitors next year .
