SUNDAY RACING - YOUTH / JUNIORS

The clubs Junior race series is open to experienced sailors.  Junior sailors can supply their own boat or the club fleet of Tera, O'pen Bic and Laser sail boats are also available.  Please see John Murphy if you require a boat.  The Junior / Youth Series runs on every second and fourth Sunday 

This series is part of our Sunday Club Racing Series and is designed for the Junior / Youth sailors who wish to race. The club supplies coaching to help the kids learn both in the class room and on the water. This series will cater for both green fleet and open fleet sailors.

This race series is for both one and two up sailors. Race courses will start with basic windward leeward courses conducted in the channel between the club house and Runaway Bay Marina  premises. To secure your boat for this activity please complete the entry form available at the club.

To be eligible for this activity all competitors must have successfully completed level three training or similar (Tackers) (see Learn to Sail - Juniors).
They must also be a full member of P.P.S.C. to comply with Australian Sailing rules regarding insurance.

                                                     Booking :            REQUIRED if needing a club boat to hire for racing cost $20.00 plus race entry fee
                                                   Race Fee:            $10.00 per person own boat single sail boat or
                                                                                $15.00 for two people sailing two up on a single sail boat (own boat)
