Hi everyone , yes we are finally back with the club news letter sorry for the absence but like everyone I have just been too busy. which is a shame because we have had plenty of funny items to mention in our tireless efforts at embarising people including myself !
Starting next weekend I will have the memory back finely tuned to bring you embarrising moments and general club information and with a wealth of people to use like Tristan , Abby ,Ross , Charlie , Taylah , Scott , Kelly to repent their funny comments and actions Iam sure I will never run out of stories to tell .
We have a lot happening this year especially with our juniors and youth sailors starting with the open bic states on the first weekend in April where Jade and Daniel will be competing in the open class and Harvey will be competing in the beginners fleet so if you have the time or a boat pop down on saturday and sunday and give them your support . Both Jade and Daniel have been training with both Charlie and I to bring their sailing skills up to gold fleet level while Harvey is just going ahead leaps and bounds at youth training . Hopefully we can entice some of the sailors at the event to our mid winter cup at the end of june .
Adult racing is alive and well with consistantly good numbers at the start line and so far this year they are generally behaving themselves and not causing general recalls . The 2021 club champion awards will take place in around two weeks once the trophies arrive so we will keep everyone advised as soon as we have a firm date .
