We did manage to change the turbo kit from bad decision to the new donated laser ( Andrew ) as she looks less tired than bad decision who has done ten years worth of work at the club.
This coming weekend is looking much better so fingers crossed that we get some good sailing winds .
News :
Thanks to Gold Coast City Council offering a financial grant we have been looking into an extension to our caged area with a third quote just being sent to Council for discussion and hopefully a decision , if we are successful we will have more room inside by moving more boats to the caged area .
First Aid :
There is a first aid course taking place at the club on saturday the 9th of november and it is open to everyone so if you need a CPR upgrade or want to do the full first aid course check with the office to book a place , so far we have 7 people doing the course with several more spots available
Upcoming :
Firstly our TRY SAILING FUNDRAISING DAY ( 8/12/2019) is well under way with the Hospital again on board for this great yearly event . As usual we will be looking for both volunteers and sailors on the day to make sure its another successful day !
Xmas Party :
The xmas party will again be held at the club premises on the 15th of december and if its anything like last year it should be a lot of fun.
