There were plenty of smiling faces and some even funnier capsizes with some of our new students .
Club racing was a long drawn out affair with the racing starting in 3 to 5 knots and then dropping out and returning for the rest of the afternoon . Several competitors pulled out of the second race due to the slow conditions and barely returned to the club .
It was nice to have our Junior Club Champion on deck for the day ( Dom ) and even Aidan was allowed a day off from Target although there was a lot of moaning about having to start work at 5am Monday ( no sympathy given ).
We have found out that even if you are nearly asleep the new Open Bics will sail you to the finish line ( nice one George ).
